Meet The Face Behind MORTGAGEGIRL BC – JACKIE WOODWARD

I’m Jackie Woodward, the proud owner of MORTGAGEGIRL BC – JACKIE WOODWARD. I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

Right from the start, I was always good with numbers. I also had a passion for helping people and used to work for one of the “big five” banks running their outbound mortgage team. Here I saw brokers are able to get better rates and deals through monoline lenders and felt I could offer better services, more competitive rates and started my own mortgage practice.

With twenty years of experience as a mortgage broker and an additional twenty years as a banker, I have seen the landscape of the mortgage industry change considerably. Today, there are more rules and guidelines that must be followed, and now it takes in-depth knowledge to navigate the system.

Parts of my work that I find most enjoyable are finding a financing solution for my clients no matter their financial situation and always offering helpful advice and guidance. My philosophy is to go above and beyond for each and every client.

As an individual, I believe what sets me apart from others is my honesty and hard work.

I attribute my success to my determination to prove doubters wrong when they told me I couldn’t do it. I also enjoy the challenge of putting a mortgage file together, which makes the whole experience fun and exhilarating.

Seeing hundreds of happy clients, all satisfied with the mortgage services I was able to source for them, has given me immense satisfaction over the years.

I have a few different pursuits and interests when I am not at work. However, I most enjoy reading, especially about true crime. I find it fascinating to learn about the people behind the crimes and delve into their mental makeup.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
